We're pleased to welcome Brighton's Youth Sector to the Courtyard Stage on Friday 24th July.
Blending indie rock, post-punk rhythms and sharp observations on modern life, Youth Sector have earned a reputation as one of the most exciting live bands on the circuit.
"Hailing from Brighton, Youth Sector’s music is a coiled spring of urgency and unpredictable energy; while lyrically offering a sense of catharsis for the confusion of modern adult life.
Taking influence from art school greats DEVO and Talking Heads, the Brighton 5 piece never revel in bleakness, managing to twist everyday narratives into music that is quite the opposite being upbeat, full of energy and with irresistible choruses you can’t help but sing along with.
The band have a fantastic live reputation, having supported Kaiser Chiefs, COIN, Darwin Deez, Goat Girl & The Pale White. Their festival catalogue includes SXSW, Rock For People, The Great Escape, Left of the Dial, Prague Music Week…
